Question by Cindy: Diet questions-Lemon Juice, Atkins, FAST!?
I am started the Atkins diet about 2 days ago. I know, I know, it’s sooo horrible. But I am only doing to to loos weight fast. I know I won’t keep it off, but I am not really worried about that right now. I am 5’7″ and I haven;t weighed in a while but I am guessing around 145-140. I just want to look a little slimmer, like less jiggles with the thighs, and no more muffin top.

ANYWAYS, I was wondering what else I can do to increase this process. I was wondering if mixing lemon juice (just pure lemon juice) with water and splenda is a good drink alternitive? will it have any harmful affects?

Best answer:

Question by Lamont: Diet questions for IBS?
IBS is suspected as being the cause of my 15 yr old daughter’s abdominal pain – just got off the phone with her Pediatric Gastroenterologist. She is still having symptoms and tests have ruled everything else out. I am changing her diet today.
I’m reading that she needs to avoid basically all fats. This can’t be healthy – our bodies do need fat, correct? Do you know if there are any safe fats she can have that won’t be a trigger if eaten in small amounts? I’m wondering about Olive oil & Safflower oil in particular.
Thanks! I had been looking at the site all morning and making notes about EVERYTHING. Her case is fairly severe – she’s been in constant severe pain since May 5th and we just got the diagnosis because everything else has been ruled out.
I hadn’t seen if the “good” fats were okay for IBS – so I wanted to make sure. We only use Olive oil, safflower oil and canola at our house. I’m buying peppermint and fennel teas today and I will be ordering Heather’s supplements. I’m getting some other organic peppermint supplements & soluable fiber from our local healthfood store in the meantime. Thanks!!!

Best answer:

Answer by Kashi
Please check out this website: www.helpforibs.com. I found out that I had IBS 3 years ago and this website was wonderful. It’s very informative about soluble and insoluble fiber. Most doctors tell IBS patients to eat alot of fiber. Well, if a person with IBS eats a ton of insoluble fiber their symptoms will get much worse. There are good fats that are perfectly safe for IBS. For the fat, they suggest to not eat high fat foods- like fried. Heart healthy monosaturated oils are much better. Big triggers of IBS are red meat, dairy, egg yolks, butter, solid chocolate, caffeine & alcohol, carbonated drinks and artifical sweetners. But, everyone is different and your daughter can slowly add more foods to see what affects her. This wsebite has a great organic soluble fiber supplement that I take and it’s wonderful! The fiber supplements in the stores have added ingredients that aren’t always safe for IBS patients. Good luck!

Have you already found the best diet solution program that suits your lifestyle? Are you about tired of getting the usual comments from friends and acquaintances of how fat you’re getting? If your answer is NO to all these questions then it’s best to continue reading this article so that you can finally get rid of all these discouraging comments.

Losing weight is not that simple but it can be as easy as finding the right diet solution and putting everything you’ve learned into action.

There are a lot of books, eBooks, websites, and audio books online that promises to help you lose your unflattering belly or shape you up into having the body you’ve always dreamed of but honestly, all these won’t work unless you actually do something about it. So that’s the first tip which is simply to get into action. After reading a good book about a diet solution program that you think is doable make sure to follow the steps.

The second tip is consistency. Be consistent and determined. The success of your diet solution all boils down to your determination and efforts. I’ve seen many people who get motivated at the beginning and even spend hours working out and eating less fattening food but after a few weeks they tend to slack up and slip back to their usual habit. Determination is the key to losing weight.

The third tip is to avoid fattening food (as much as possible) which includes those that contain too much carbohydrates, sweets, and fat. This doesn’t entirely mean that you must and always say no to these food types. It also doesn’t hold true that you limit your daily food in take. Losing weight is a combination of your diet and exercise. Of course, it’s encouraged to eat three times a day which means not to skip meals especially breakfast.

These are basically the three most powerful tips in losing weight that most people usually overlook. The choice is really up to you on how you want to go about losing those unwanted fats. You can spend thousands of dollars for liposuction or simply lose weight the natural way. So, start finding the best diet solution program that suits your needs and lifestyle.

Top 10 Questions to Ask Any Weight Loss Company Before You Hand Over the Big Bucks

Weight loss companies are ready and waiting for your call after Christmas. It is their biggest time of year and business is sure to BOOM after all those naughty treats. But how do you choose the right one for you? How can you ensure success when this cut throat industry will do anything for your dollar?

Some critical questions to ask of any program you are thinking of joining:

1. IS THIS A MEDICALLY DESIGNED PROGRAM?

Medically designed programs have the support and research of a qualified professional like a GP, Nutritionist or Dietician.

2. IS EVERYONE GIVEN THE SAME PLAN OR IS THIS PERSONALISED FOR ME?

Make sure your plan is right for YOU. What works for one person might not for the next.

3. HAS THIS PROGRAM BEEN SUCCESSFUL FOR OTHERS?

You want to make sure that your program is going to give you the results you need. Try for a success rate of over 80% and read the testimonials carefully.

4. DO YOU HAVE ANY KIND OF MONEY BACK GUARANTEE?

A money back guarantee is a sure way to know that the program is 100% proven.

5. CAN I EXPECT TO LOSE AT LEAST ONE KILO PER WEEK?

To provide you with the motivation to keep going, an average loss of 1 kilo per week is recommended. You don’t want to be doing this forever!

6. IS THIS A HOLISTIC PROGRAM THAT WILL LOOK AT EVERY ASPECT OF WEIGHT LOSS?

Nutrition, Supplementation, Psychology and Physical Activity all contribute to making a great weight loss plan. Focusing on just one of these won’t solve the problem for good.

7. WILL I BE SUPPORTED BY TRAINED STAFF WHO HAVE ALSO LOST WEIGHT AND KNOW WHERE I AM COMING FROM?

Who wants to be told how to lose weight by someone who has never had to? Ensure that your consultant knows the situation and can relate.

8. WILL THERE BE REGULAR MEDICAL TESTS TO CHECK HOW I AM PROGRESSING?

Losing weight means BIG changes to your body. Medical tests should be carried out for the duration of your program to make sure you are in excellent health.

9. IF I LIVE IN A REGIONAL AREA, WILL I GET THE SAME SUPPORT AS THOSE IN THE CITY?

People in regional areas should request the same support as those anywhere else.

10. WILL I KEEP THE WEIGHT OFF?

2011 is not the year for YoYo dieting. Ensure the plan you do will reset your metabolism and keep the weight off forever! background imagebackground image

Article by John Parks

A low carb diet can be an effective and healthy way to lose weight. While weight loss results will vary according to the particular program and the particular person, success will be more likely for those who prepare in advance.

There are many ways to reduce carbs. One popular method is to avoid consumption of white foods such as white bread, white rice, potatoes, white pasta and sugar. Some people can also achieve successful weight loss when all carbohydrates are eliminated except those found in fruit or legumes. Each dieter needs to make the choice that will work best for them.

The person preparing for a diet based on the reduction of carbohydrate intake should do research into the variety of programs. It never fails that each time a new diet becomes popular, multiple spin-offs also saturate the market. The decision to go low carb is no exception so it is important to apply common sense to the basics behind each diet. A person should look over the diet plan with the following questions in mind: Does the diet prohibit too many healthy food choices? Are a wide variety of foods allowed? Is the change in lifestyle too difficult to incorporate? And, is this a program that can feasibly be followed? An adage that works well for diets is “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” Ideally, the diet should be one that the person will be able to maintain throughout their life and one that promotes physical activity in addition to changes in eating habits.

Prior to beginning the diet that was chosen a close review of the allowable foods should be performed. This will give a person the chance to create meal and snack plans for the first week — the time when many people want to give up on dietary changes due to lack of inspiration regarding what to eat. A meal plan that is structured before the diet has even begun removes stress that stems from always thinking of what the next meal should be.

The general concept behind each healthy low carb plan is to replace bad carbohydrates with good. This can be done all at once; though making changes gradually works as well. This is done by replacing all-purpose flour with whole-wheat flour, opting for fresh fruits and vegetables rather than potato chips and pretzels, eating brown or wild rice instead of white rice and so forth. Basically, the focus is on making healthier carb choices.

As with all diets, once the low carb diet has been decided on, it would be wise to check with a doctor. While reducing carbohydrates is safe for most people, a personal physician can advise whether adaptations should be made to compensate for any existing health issues or concerns. The physician can also give insight as to physical symptoms that might result from the reduction in carbs, especially if the change is sudden and drastic.

A small amount of preparation and research into losing weight by reducing carbs will go a long way to ensuring success.

“The history of diet plan dated from the moment that the first monkey evoluted to be a lady”. My confidant jessica always says so. Wow, you may get the point. Just as what she says, her “process of becoming beauty” turns out to be a long long road like the human being evolution history. When we were sophomore, I had to catch her back to our dormitory from square, because this guy actually asked me such questions, “wil, why are there so much candy floating on ground? Are they sweety? Could I have them?”. Well, you couldn’t eat them until you became transformer. I told myself. What could I do? The only thing was to buy real candy and huge hamburgs feeding this extreme hungry girl having no food for three days! Then the next time, I saved her life from endless jogging and aerobic training. After that, jessica experiences differential “keep-fit” programs, and I go through kinds of rescue stories. The only result I get from jessica’s lession is that losing weight is really really hard, and beauty is cruel. I comfort myselt that it is not bad to be Ugly Betty, at least I could be safe and I am alive.Yet one day, jessica turns up again, glamorously and brightly. No baby fat, no laziness, but body tight and healthy!I even couldn’t believe my eyes. What have you met? A generous orthopedic surgeon? She smiles mysteriously, and gives me the data. What is it? I read it with suspicion at first. Yet during the process of reading, I am really convinced of by Isabel De Rios. Yes, that is the truth of beauty-no harm for health, and be energetic. Then I do some detailed study on The Diet Solution Program, Isabel De Rios’ theory. I find that two new viewpoints bright Diet Solution Program. The first is that you are what you eat. Of course we eat everyday, and acquire energy from food. Yet maybe people don’t know that some food are good-nutritional for them; some food are bad-harmful for them. The Diet Solution Program tells people how to choose food, and what and when to eat.The second is to free people’s nature, so they could design their own diet plans on different circumstances. It means that people will not obey strict rules, for example people could only have one apple a day, or the calories is less than 100. Otherwise the diet plan would be failed!Other information about diet go http://reviewsphen375.co.ccTo be frank, I have never met such easy and useful the diet solution program. Only a few days later. I feel the whole body is full of energy, the fat disappears, even the pores on face is smaller. What a magic program! You could read the ebook here , and another beautiful one for yourself.Do not waiting start action with buy phen375 now here.

Yeast free diets

People who know about the Candida free diet might know about this because they are considered one and the same. The concept of yeast free diet is not hard to understand because the meaning can be found on the term itself. This diet promotes healthy lifestyle and well-being by restricting the amount of yeast that enters the body.

Why do some people choose this diet?

Most people who chose this diet is probably experiencing a yeast growth in their system and this could be fatal if left untreated. This yeast infection is brought about by Candida Albicans which can be found mostly on the moist parts of our body like the mouth, digestive tract, the vaginal canal and the urinary tract. Furthermore, this diet is also preferred and advised by medical practitioners rather than the taking in of antibiotics. This is because of the antibiotics can also affect those good bacteria and kill them while in the process of eliminating the bad bacteria. These bad bacteria cause by the Candida Albicans thrives on starch and sugar so in order for them to grow more, they have to make the human host crave for foods high on the sugar and starch.

How can one combat these Candida Albicans?

As mentioned above, if the Candida Albicans likes the sugary foods and starch, then the host should limit it. In addition, yeast can be found mostly on bread and cookies so it will do good to avoid those too along with vinegar, fungi (like in the mushrooms), wheat flour, alcohols and potatoes that are high in starch. On the other hand, here are some lists of foods that can be eaten: green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits, nuts/ seeds, brown rice, oatmeal and yogurt (should be sugar-free).

Some people might find it hard to maintain this kind of diet for a few days but after 6 weeks of taking yeast free diet, the person may feel a radical difference between the health of his body and how he or she feels. By this time also, one can add sparingly some of the restricted foods provided that one must still keep track of it all. Also, a moderate exercise program wouldn’t hurt to add while taking this diet. Walking, swimming or other light exercises for 20 minutes is enough.

By strictly implementing these methods, a yeast free diet can surely will help get you back on track in no time at all.
